Heritage Portuguse house which is about 500 years old building believed to be the residence of Vasco Da Gama (Vasco House) the Portuguese Navigator who found the sea route to India ,died in 1524 on Christmas Eve,and his tomb stone is in St:Francis Church & A Travel Desk where we arrange House Boats and other package tours in Kerala We have two independent bed rooms, with two double beds each in one room and a independent bathroom with toilet and running hot water, the room has window balconies from where you can see the play ground and St Francis Church where Vasco De Gama was buried Its the first European church built in India, Hundred meters walking from home you see Chinese fishing nets , and the popular beach, fish market We have coffee shop , we serve breakfast , fresh juices , pancakes, Dosa, etc . We started the VASCO HOME STAY( B& B )- or the guest house in the year 1996
