Description
The property is located on a 5 acre island, the only such island in Kashmir Valley, in world famous DAL Lake. Transportation to the island is by a shikara(boat)from the Ashai Bagh Bridge on the Nageen Lake in Srinagar. The shikara is comfortble with fox springs and accomodayes 4 person comfortably.It is a 15 minute beautiful shikara ride to the island. The location is a few minutes away from the beautiful campus of Kashmir University,from the Grand Mosque, called Hazratbal or Dargha, a shopping area for Kashmir Arts and Crafts. It takes half an hour to 45 minutes for a shikara ride to the famous Moghul Gardens like, Cheshmashahi, Nishat, Shalimar and Harwan.
