Leh-phuks's(Labuk) family owns the Green Villa Guest house just beneath the old historic Palace called Namgyal Tsemo. It is located north of Leh at Chubi Road and is a comfortable kilo-meter and a half uphill walk from the main Leh market. A friendly guest house of a local Ladakhi family located in a very serene and peaceful atmosphere amidst poplar, meadow and apricot trees. Green villa is a best lodging in Leh and offers 12 simply decorated guest rooms, traditional open kitchen, a beautiful garden and a delightful in-house restaurant serving Ladakhi, Indian, Chinese and continental cuisine. Each room has an attached bath with hot and cold water for 24 hours. Every room opens to a breathtaking view of the entire mountain range and the rooms in particular the rooms on the roof with the wonderful view of all sites of Leh including Namgyal Tsemo, Leh Palace, Shanti stupa, Stok Kangri.
