I don't want to discourage you with this picture but it is an important one from my journey, I'm not sure when @kanupriya.bishnoi clicked this on her blackberry (at that time) in the Taj Mansingh locker room, post my shift. This is important to share because becoming a chef requires a lot of dedication to your craft and most importantly skill development.
In today's rapidly changing world where everything is digital, don't forget to put in those tough hours slogging it in the kitchen, because those skills will help you in the future. Instagram, youtube all of it is great, but the real skill lies when you are standing in the kitchen, sweating it out, getting order after order out. It takes hard work, lots of commitment and time.
If you are a budding chef or a student in this journey, I'd like to say Don't give up! Put in those hours, peel, chop, cook, boil, clean the freezers, learn LOADS, and be interested... You'll learn and grow and do amazing things and remember nothing comes easy.
