Until a couple of years ago, Gin accounted only for a tiny share of the country’s alcobev market- as compared to now, where the increase in the number of Gin consumers in the country has put India on the map as one of the three fastest-growing markets in the Gin consumption space.

The last few years have seen a beautiful growth in this spirit with a wave of Homegrown Gins as well as International Gins taking over the country, making way for a whopping rise of 6% in consumption in India annually.

At GEC, we take great pride in being called contributors to this era of a ‘Gin-naissance’ by building a canvas with these brands to come and showcase their spirit and share their stories with a Gin-curious audience.

More about the festival:

With a mythical theme this edition, GEC promises to bring you an experience that goes beyond imagination into a botanical wonderland with 12 of the coolest Homegrown and International Gins for people to experience over a weekend of revelry. Explore brands such as Beefeater Pink, Gordon's, Greater Than, Jaisalmer, Monkey 47, Samsara, Stranger & Sons, Tamras, Tanqueray and more- under one roof, with an eclectic music line-up to get you to sway to the beats of artists like Peter Cat Recording Co., Sickflip, Nida and Aditi Ramesh among many more.

“No two Gins can ever taste the same, and that’s the experience that we are trying to bring forth. As a gin lover, I love trying new Gins and more so dwelling into their worlds and learning their stories - and that’s just what led us to create GEC. A place to get an exhilarating experience under one roof”, says founder Anjali Batra.

Adding to this, Shuchir Suri, commented, “The world of Gin today doesn’t just stop at the consumption of the spirit itself, but rather depicts a whole new lifestyle around it. Gin has come to represent a lifestyle that boasts of versatility and experimentation, and that hunger for exploration is here to stay and massively grow”.

The Gin Explorers Festival is looking to slowly expand their footprint across the country, bringing newer immersive experiences to their audience. The festival passes are available at www.insider.in which gives you access to one day at the festival and to all the entertainment zones and on-ground activities.
