The Rogue Elephant, Jayanagar

Café Kaara, Ulsoor & Ulsoor lake

This al fresco space in Ulsoor, near the lake, is a well-kept secret. It’s a neat little space and great for a coffee and snack or even a light meal. Here’s a café that promises a healthy experience. Fresh Pressery is in Koramangala and now also on Lavelle Road, where it’s next to the Good Earth Store. Go here for refreshing smoothies and dishes whipped up from organic ingredients.

Starbucks Lavelle Road, Indiranagar, Koramangla, Sadashivnagar

Infinitea

Bangalore has not shortage of coffee shops and cafes. Infinitea is for the tea lover and connoisseur and holds its own in a mostly coffee-drinking landscape. This tea lounge on Cunningham Road is well-appointed with lots of tea-related artefacts and information adorning the place. The teas on offer range from masala chai served in a khullar to refined brews from the heights of Darjeeling. Green teas, herbal teas and fruit teas are also available.
